i am the gatekeeper

here's one of my walking-to-work pet peeves:


the guy who lives here never closes his driveway gate, and I have to close it in order to walk by. usually i push it closed with a vengeance, which also counts as my cardio for the day becuase the thing is heavy and rusty and hard to push. really what i should do it hit those hinges with some WD-40 so when the guy bumps the gate open with his car to back out of the driveway (i've seen him do it) they fly open and then back closed again and slam into his bumper. hard. hard enough to make his car go flying forward and he bashes his car into his house! and then the house falls down! and his dog gets out and runs away!

that's how it happens in my mind anyway. really i don't even know if he has a dog.

pink cadillac

here's the pink cadillac that I always see in the morning. people, this is a REAL LIVE MARY KAY CADDY! I want to know what it takes to get one of these. How many compacts and tubes of lipstick does it take to get a pink mary kay caddy? If anyone knows, let me know becuase I'm sure its some kind of honor. A gas guzzling honor from the late 70's.

*EDIT- I just found out that you can choose from a convertible, a caddy, or an SUV for your prestigious mary kay career car. just thought you should all know the options available.

brady on putnam

I think Cambridge Seven has moved into the old City Schemes space on the corner of Mass Ave and Putnam. Someone plotted out this gigantic head shot of Tom Brady. I'm no football fan, but I like the picture. I like my picture of the picture even better.
